Pardees Fassihi transferred from Pierce College to UCLA and graduated in 2017 with a degree in economics.

 

At UCLA, Pardees co-founded two organizations on campus, the Pre-Law Transfer Society and the American Association of University Women, and was also an active volunteer at the Transfer Student Center. 

She had done internships in finance and law throughout her undergraduate career, but ultimately decided that higher education was her calling. In 2016, she began mentoring students through the UCLA Transfer Mentor Program, and has continued mentoring students as an alumna through the UCLA Alumni Mentorship Program.

Pardees currently works at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School in accreditation and assessment, where she strives to improve student learning outcomes across multiple programs. She is also the President of the UCLA Transfer Student Alumni Network and Treasurer of the UCLA San Fernando Valley Alumni Network.

Lilibet Behdadnia, one of the founders of Pre-Law Transfer Society at UCLA, is a third-year law student at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, pursuing her Juris Doctor degree and certificates in entertainment, media, and sports law; law and entrepreneurship; and dispute resolution. 

 

She transferred from Pierce College in 2015 with an associate degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences and graduated from UCLA in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology.

Lilibet currently works as a legal intern for Universal Pictures Features Legal at NBCUniversal and is aspiring to practice entertainment and intellectual property law. From major studios, to law firms, to the U.S. Copyright Office, her experience is diverse and revolves around entertainment and intellectual property law.
